Simplicity is key in CasaLatina’s Lara collection. Within the series is a line-up of wooden kitchen utensils – including these salad servers, rice spoon and serving fork – that are carved entirely by hand. Skilled artisans from Guadalupe in Venezuela make each ware from a single block of wood, prioritising clean, pared-back shapes. The community is found within a natural reserve where the state and locals collaboratively administer sustainable forest management.
