Baba Tree works with local villagers in the Bolgatanga region of Ghana to make its distinctive handwoven designs. Weavers work with the hollow stalks of veta vera grass—otherwise known as elephant grass—which are split, rolled and twisted before they’re woven and dyed by hand.
