This small honey pot by Ido Ferber, a skilled Israeli-born potter and woodworker based in Tokyo, is created using traditional Japanese hand-carving techniques. Crafted from a house beam recovered from a local Sento, this unique pot features a Japanese Hinoki cypress wooden body and lid, finished with several layers of Fuki urushi, traditional Japanese lacquer technique that adds durability and a beautiful sheen. The pot is accompanied by a walnut honey dipper, generously coated in walnut oil for a rich, natural appearance.
